Our Veteran’s Care Services aim to enhance the quality of life for veterans and their spouses, ensuring they receive the respect, dignity, and support they deserve.

Eligibility

To be eligible for supportive services in Bismarck, North Dakota, or nearby locations, the veteran or the veteran’s surviving spouse must meet the following criteria:

  • Assistance with activities of daily living
  • Basic housekeeping
  • Personal care
  • Mobility support
  • Companionship
  • In-home Medical

Services Included

At KAYD Home Care, we do everything within our capacity to help clients qualify for services under the Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefits program.

Mobility Support
Our staff assists with transportation to appointments, community events, or religious services, ensuring clients can stay engaged and mobile.
Personal Care
We provide support with personal hygiene, including bathing and showering, as well as assistance with toileting and incontinence care. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring the comfort and dignity of every client.
Basic Housekeeping
Our staff helps with shopping, personal laundry, and basic housekeeping tasks. This includes cleaning clients' personal spaces and picking up after them to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
Our staff can assist with meal preparation, including direct support or help with feeding tubes when necessary. Recognizing the importance of physical activity, our staff is trained to use adaptive equipment to encourage safe and effective movement.
Companionship
Staff members provide companionship through conversations and shared activities to prevent feelings of isolation. They also help clients stay active in the community by providing transportation to community events and religious services.
